Miatz on iOS, in one line
Miatz is launching on the App Store as a native iPhone and iPad app. It is the same platform you get on the web — one account, one record, everything in sync — plus capabilities only a real app can offer.
What the iOS app adds
- Face ID / Touch ID app-lock — an opt-in biometric lock in Account settings. When on, Miatz asks for a face or fingerprint match every time it comes back to the foreground.
- Push notifications via APNs — mentor feedback, review reminders and streak nudges arrive as real iOS notifications, with quick actions that deep-link straight to the right screen.
- App-icon badge — the icon shows a count of what's actually waiting for you (unread notifications plus today's unfinished work), synced with the in-app bell.
- Sign in with Apple — one tap, no new password. Delete your account later and the Apple token is revoked too.
- Native touches — haptic feedback on results, the native share sheet for your profile and referrals, and the standard in-app review prompt (shown rarely, only after a genuine win).
One difference to know: audio practice is upload-only in the iOS app. Record with Voice Memos (or any recorder app) and upload the file; in-browser recording remains available on the web.
Is it free? Do I need to pass anything?
Yes, it's free — and no, there's no gate. Sign up free and start immediately — no entrance exam required. Levels unlock as you do the work. When you're ready, the optional DSAT places you at the right level on the rank and scholarship ladder for a cohort seat.
Using Miatz on your iPhone today
You don't have to wait for the store launch. Open miatz.com in Safari, tap Share → Add to Home Screen, and Miatz installs as a full-screen app with its own icon. Everything — curriculum, coding practice, Mysty, your record — works there today, and your account carries straight over to the App Store app when it arrives.
Frequently asked
Is Miatz on the App Store?
The Miatz iOS app is launching on the App Store. Until it lands, you can use the full platform on your iPhone today: open miatz.com in Safari and add it to your home screen — it installs as an app and works the same.
Is the Miatz iPhone app free?
Yes. The app is free to download and free to use. Sign up free and start immediately — no entrance exam required; the optional DSAT simply places you at the right level.
Does the Miatz iOS app support Face ID?
Yes. You can turn on an optional biometric app-lock in Account settings. When enabled, Miatz asks for Face ID or Touch ID every time the app returns to the foreground, so your learning record stays private on a shared or lost device.
Can I sign in with Apple on Miatz?
Yes. The iOS app offers Sign in with Apple alongside Google and email sign-in, and if you ever delete your account, Miatz also revokes the associated Apple token.
Do push notifications work on iOS?
Yes. The iOS app delivers push notifications through Apple's APNs, shows an app-icon badge with what's waiting for you, and schedules gentle daily reminders on-device — a finished day silences them automatically.
Can I record audio submissions in the iOS app?
In the native iOS app, audio practice is upload-only: record with the Voice Memos app (or any recorder) and upload the file. In-browser recording works on the web and PWA versions.
