Miatz on Android, in one line

Miatz is launching on Google Play as a native Android app. It's the same single platform as the web — one account, one auditable record — with the capabilities only a real app provides.

What the Android app adds

  • Biometric unlock — an opt-in app-lock in Account settings. With it on, Miatz asks for your fingerprint or face whenever the app comes back to the foreground.
  • Push notifications via FCM — mentor feedback, review reminders and streak nudges delivered through Firebase Cloud Messaging, with quick actions that deep-link to the exact screen.
  • On-device daily reminders — a battery-safe cadence of local notifications at your local times; finishing the day's work silences the rest automatically.
  • App badge — a count of unread notifications and today's unfinished items, synced with the in-app bell so it never drifts.
  • Google sign-in, done right — the app opens Google in a Chrome Custom Tab (the system browser), the method Google requires, then returns you seamlessly signed in.
  • Native share and haptics — share your profile or referral card through Android's share sheet; feel results land.

One difference: audio practice is upload-only in the Android app. Record with any voice-recorder app and upload the file; in-browser recording stays available on the web.

Free, and no gate at the door

Sign up free and start immediately — no entrance exam required. Levels unlock as you complete the work. The optional DSAT is a placement exam: it sets your spot on the rank and scholarship ladder for a cohort seat, and nothing more. There are no in-app purchases.

Using Miatz on Android today

Open miatz.com in Chrome and tap Install (or menu → Add to Home screen). Miatz installs as a full-screen app with its own icon and notifications. Your account, streaks and progress carry over unchanged to the Play Store app when it launches.

Yes. The Android app signs you in with Google through your system browser (a Chrome Custom Tab), the flow Google itself requires — so it's fast, secure and never blocked. Email sign-in works too.

In the native Android app, audio practice is upload-only: record with any recorder app and upload the file. In-browser recording works on the web and PWA versions.
