Two boards, two kinds of skill
The Leaderboard page runs two leagues side by side.
The XP League ranks everyone by total XP — every quiz passed, challenge solved, valid bug reported and forum answer accepted counts. Your row is highlighted, and the top three wear medals.
The Spoken-Skills League measures something rarer: how well you communicate out loud under pressure. Answer a simulation by voice (tap the mic) and each run is scored for pace, clarity and confidence. The board shows your average score, your best score and your speaking pace in words-per-minute. Most engineers never train this; here it's a ranked sport.
The weekly league on your dashboard
Your dashboard shows This week's league — this week's XP across your cohort, reset every Monday. That reset matters: even if someone is thousands of XP ahead all-time, the week is always winnable. A strong Monday-to-Sunday of daily reviews, challenges and forum answers can top the table.
How to climb
- Do your daily review and Today plan — consistent small XP beats occasional big days.
- Solve coding challenges and pass exams — the biggest single XP sources.
- Answer questions in the forum — accepted answers are 20 XP each and build reputation too.
- Record voice answers in simulations to enter (and climb) the spoken board.
Rank is a signal, not the goal
Leaderboards exist to make effort visible, not to shame anyone. The rank that really matters is on your Growth page: you versus past-you.

The Leaderboard ranks all-time totals. The dashboard league counts only XP earned this week across your cohort and resets every Monday — so you can win the week even if others are far ahead overall.
Why is the spoken board empty for me?
You haven't recorded a voice run yet. Open a simulation, tap the mic and answer out loud — your first scored run puts you on the board.
