The Community forum
Spaces, threads, votes, accepted answers — and how to flag content or block a member.
- Get unstuck fast — ask your cohort and accept the answer that solved it
- Earn XP and reputation for genuinely helping other learners
- Stay safe: flag anything off, and block members whose posts you never want to see
Spaces: the rooms of the community
Community is organised into spaces. Your cohort gets its own set — Help & Q&A (ask, answer, accept the solution), Show Your Work (ship things for peer review), War-Room Debriefs (post-incident retros), Job Board and the Lounge — plus global spaces everyone shares. Applicants see the community after admission; pass the entrance exam to join your cohort's spaces.
Threads, votes and accepted answers
Open a space to browse threads or start your own; replies support Markdown. Every reply has a vote rail — upvote what helped, downvote what misleads. On a question you asked, tap Accept answer on the reply that solved it: it turns green, and its author earns XP.
Contribution pays: an accepted answer is 20 XP, an upvoted answer 10, a war-room debrief 5, a helpful reply 2 — all fed into your XP total. The Top contributors board ranks members by reputation: upvotes on your answers plus 15 for every accepted solution.
Some spaces have an AI helper whose replies are always labelled with an AI badge. Locked threads show a notice and take no new replies.
Flagging content
See something that breaks the rules — spam, abuse, off-topic noise? Tap Flag under the post (threads can be flagged too). The report goes straight to the moderation queue, where moderators review it and can hide the content. Flagging is anonymous to other members.
Blocking a member
If you never want to see someone's posts again, tap Block (or Block member) on any of their content. After a quick confirmation, everything they write is hidden from your view across the forum — server-side, not just visually. Blocking is yours to control: manage and undo your blocks any time in Account → Settings. Moderators can additionally hide posts for everyone.
Being a good citizen
Ask with context (what you tried, what you expected, what happened), answer generously, and accept answers on your own questions — it's how the next person with your bug finds the fix.
