Invitations
Invite people individually or in bulk, and track who has accepted.
- Invite individuals, a whole cohort, or let a claimed domain admit people automatically
- Invitations expire, can be resent, and can be revoked before acceptance

Three ways to bring people in

Lifecycle
An invitation moves through draft → sent → reminded → accepted, or ends as expired or revoked. Open invitations count against your seat pool so a burst of invitations cannot oversubscribe it.
Who can redeem an invitation
Only the person it was addressed to. Redemption requires being signed in with that confirmed email address — an unconfirmed or different address is refused. This is what stops an invitation link from being forwarded, or from being claimed by someone who merely typed the address at signup.
Rank rules
You cannot invite someone at a role above your own, and you cannot resend or revoke an invitation that outranks you. Owner invitations are reserved for bootstrapping an organization that has no owner yet.

Can someone forward their invitation to a colleague?
No. Redeeming an invitation requires being signed in with the confirmed email address it was sent to, so a forwarded link will not work for anyone else.
How long does an invitation last?
Invitations expire after a set window and can be resent. An expired invitation cannot be redeemed — send a new one.
What if we run out of seats?
Invitations to a full seat pool are refused with a clear message. Free a seat by deactivating a member, or increase the pool.
Can I invite someone as an Owner?
Only if the organization has no owner yet — that is how a new organization gets its first one. After that, ownership is granted directly by an existing owner rather than by invitation.
