Cohorts, admissions & enrollment
Create cohorts, review applicants and enroll learners — with seat quotas enforced automatically.
- One screen to create cohorts and admit applicants — no spreadsheet juggling
- Enrollment starts the learner's curriculum drip and seeds their calendar automatically
- Seat quotas from your plan are enforced before any write, so nothing is left half-applied
Cohorts & applicants
Admin → Cohorts is where your program takes shape.
Create and tune cohorts
Create a cohort with a name, track, seats, start date and an expected hours/day study target (the soft daily goal shown to its learners). You can adjust hours/day per cohort at any time; name, track, seats and status are editable under Admin → Content.
Review applicants
Applicants who submitted the entrance exam appear with their auto-graded score and status (exam submitted, passed, waitlisted). For each one you can:
- Mark passed or Reject — the applicant gets an in-app notification of the decision.
- Enroll them straight into a cohort at a starting level (entry / junior / trainee).
What enrollment does
Enrolling is the admission moment. In one action the learner:
1. Becomes a student in that cohort at the chosen level.
2. Gets a program start date (today by default) — their curriculum days begin unlocking from there.
3. Has their default calendar (routines + schedule horizon) seeded.
4. Has their application marked admitted.
Quotas and boundaries
Your plan's cohort-seat quota is checked before any write — a blocked admission changes nothing. Re-enrolling an already-active learner never consumes a new seat. Everything on this screen is fenced to your own organization.
The journey, step by step
| Step | What you do | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Create a cohort | Admin → Cohorts → Create cohort (name, track, seats, start date, hours/day) | A cohort exists for enrollments, with a soft daily study goal |
| Review applicants | Check each applicant's auto-graded entrance score | You know who cleared the DSAT before deciding |
| Decide | Mark passed or reject | The applicant is notified in-app of the decision |
| Enroll | Pick a cohort and starting level (entry / junior / trainee) | Role becomes student, the curriculum clock starts and their default calendar is seeded |
| Tune the pace | Adjust a cohort's hours/day at any time | The daily goal updates for every learner in the cohort |
Frequently asked
What happens when I enroll an applicant?
They become a student in that cohort at the level you pick, their program start date is set (today unless you choose one), their chapters begin unlocking from that date, their default calendar is seeded, and their application is marked admitted.
What if we hit our seat limit?
Enrollment is blocked with a clear message before anything is written. Re-enrolling an already-active learner never consumes a new seat. Ask your account manager to raise the cohort-seat quota.
Can I see other organizations' cohorts?
No — cohorts and applicants are fenced to your own organization.
