Vanity or Vital

One metric climbs while the one that matters falls.

the dual-axis 'tell' draws six months on one chart where the metric you'd brag about and the metric that actually matters visibly scissor apart, exposing exactly which report would have fooled the room

How it works

What goes in, what comes out

What it does

Learner assembles a funnel by dragging shuffled event cards (signup, activation, first-value, day-7/30 retention) into the right order, then watches a cohort flow through six simulated months where one metric trends up while its paired vital metric quietly trends down.

You bring

assemble the funnel order from shuffled event cards; annotate which monthly metric change they would report to leadership and why

You get

an animated funnel-flow diagram plus a dual-axis chart of the chosen metric against the vital metric moving opposite, scored against whether the learner's annotation caught the divergence

You control

event-log complexity (basic 4-step / messy 9-step with decoys); cohort size; time range (3/6/12 months); 'inject vanity spike' toggle
