Now, Next, Never

Every roadmap bet hides an iceberg under its estimate.

the iceberg reveal — every bet shows only its visible tip until commit, then the submerged 90% animates into view, showing why roadmaps blow up after planning, not during it

How it works

What goes in, what comes out

What it does

Learner allocates one quarter of fixed engineering capacity across 6-9 competing bets on a Now/Next/Later board. Each bet shows only a headline cost; a hidden dependency chain and a hidden tech-debt 'interest rate' surface only after commitment, sometimes blowing the quarter's capacity.

You bring

drag bets into Now/Next/Later within the capacity cap; commit the quarter

You get

a post-commit reveal screen showing the dependency iceberg beneath each bet, the opportunity cost of what got bumped, and a capacity-overrun readout if debt interest wasn't budgeted

You control

team-capacity slider; number of competing bets (6-9); hidden-dependency density (low/med/high); tech-debt interest toggle on/off
