Why Our Founding Cohort Is Free (The Honest Answer)

'Free' is the most abused word in education. It usually means freemium bait, a data grab, or a certificate mill hoping you'll upgrade before you notice the content is a playlist. We want proof before we want revenue

Miatz makes a strong claim: that a daily training loop, real incident drills, an AI shadow engineer, and a verifiable judgment record produce engineers who can command AI systems — not just use them. We believe the design, the learning science behind it is solid, and we've built the machinery.

What we don't have yet is the thing we tell everyone else to demand: evidence at scale. Outcomes. Graduates whose [Itz'at records](/program) employers have actually read and hired against.

Charging for unproven claims is exactly the ed-tech behavior we exist to replace — so the first cohorts pay nothing while we earn the proof.

There's a second, equally unromantic reason: footfall. A training system with telemetry at its core gets better with learners in it. Every check-in, every War Room run, every fuzzy-concept flag tunes the curriculum. Early learners aren't just students; they're the load test. It would be strange to charge people for stress-testing our system, so we don't.

What we ask for instead

Free doesn't mean casual. The exchange is explicit, and we hold up our end only if you hold up yours:

What free is not

And no watered-down 'trial tier': founding cohorts get the whole thing, because partial evidence would be useless to us.

Why scarcity survives even at zero price
